At Dovita Milano, every gown we create tells a unique story, and our recent collaboration with renowned Mexican influencer Mache is no exception. This inspiring journey began in July 2024, when we held our first video calls with Mache to discuss her vision for the dress of her civil wedding.
Mache came to us with a clear
idea: a dress that was simple yet elegant, trendy yet timeless. She envisioned an off-white silk gown that captured her modern aesthetic and understated sophistication. Her excitement was infectious as she shared her ideas, even sketching out her dream design during the call.
This was where the magic began. With Victoria Ergun, Dovita Milano’s lead designer, guiding her through the creative process, we worked closely with Mache to refine her vision. From selecting the perfect silk to discussing intricate design details, every choice reflected her unique personality while embracing the signature Dovita Milano artistry. Together, we transformed her dream into a reality, blending her inspiration with our craftsmanship.
The result? A bespoke gown that exuded modern grace, perfectly suited to the breathtaking vineyard in Coahuila, Mexico, where the wedding took place.
The journey was as memorable as the final creation. From the moment Mache saw the first customized sketch, her reaction was pure joy. Later, she previewed the finished gown on video, straight from our Milan atelier—a moment filled with anticipation. The gown was then shipped to our flagship store in Mexico, where Mache finally saw and felt it in person. Her emotional response reminded us of why we do what we do: creating dresses that make dreams come true.
Mache's civil wedding was a celebration of love, style, and individuality, with her bespoke Dovita Milano gown as the centerpiece.
